Located just north of Oxford, Tolkien is believed to have written The Hobbit and the beginning of The Lord of the Rings in the house, which contains six bedrooms. Tolkien lived from 1930 through 1947 is going on the market for an asking price of $2.7 million. They will be holding a close-out sale that day with refreshments from 11 AM until everything's gone.
